Peruvian Garlic – Arequipeno
Availability – from January to May.
Cultivated in only one region of Peru, at the foot of a volcano, at an altitude of over 4,000 m above sea level. It is characterized by the most intense red color, both on the peel and the clove.
The number of cloves in the bulb varies from 7 to 10. The harvest takes place in November. Bulb sizes from 45 to 65 mm.
